Kevin Pietersen

Kevin Pietersen is one of the most recognisable cricketers of all time, with his entertaining style of play thrilling fans around the world between 2004 and 2014.

Kevin first announced himself to Test cricket during the 2005 Ashes when, in his first series, a magnificent 158 at The Oval helped England to regain the urn for the first time in over 18 years.

He won the Ashes a further three times, including playing a key role in the 2010/11 side that won 3-1 in Australia. Other highlights in the Test arena include being named captain in 2008, and innings of 151 and 186 against Sri Lanka and India that inspired England to rare victories in the subcontinent.

His white-ball achievements are equally of note. He was named Player of the Tournament as England won the 2010 World T20, while he was among the first English players to establish himself in the IPL, a highlight of the cricket betting calendar.

Kevin became a Betway ambassador in August 2019, providing typically-forthright opinions in his blogs on the Betway Insider.
