Robbie Keane is the greatest goalscorer in Irish football history, netting 68 goals in 146 appearances for his country.
Robbie also had a hugely successful club career, in which he scored 355 goals in 737 appearances in the Premier League, MLS, SPL and Serie A.
His career lasted 20 years but began in the 1997-98 season at Wolves in the First Division. Robbie arrived in the Premier League three years later after earning a move to Coventry and the next three years took him to Inter Milan, Leeds and Tottenham, via the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
His achievements with Spurs were particularly notable. He was part of the team that won the 2008 EFL Cup, which remains the last time they won a trophy.
He made the move to LA Galaxy in 2011, where he scored 104 goals in 165 appearances across six seasons.
Robbie became a Betway brand ambassador in 2022 and will write regular columns for Betway’s football betting blog, the Betway Insider, giving his thoughts on the biggest leagues, tournaments and fixtures.
