Formerly an amateur rider for Jessica Harrington, Ross has been training horses since 2011 with success under both codes.

In 2012, he got his first winner as a trainer with He’s Our Man in Limerick.

His most notable horse racing betting win came in the Grand National Trial Chase at Punchestown in 2017 with Baie Des Iles.

Another prominent horse within the stable, Call It Magic, has recorded two wins for Ross and ran a great race in the 2018 Becher Chase, coming fourth.

Ross is married to Katie Walsh, one of jump racing’s most successful female jockeys.

Ross joined the Betway team as an ambassador in December 2018 and will provide a regular blog for Betway Insider, giving exclusive insight into the progress of his stable.
