Best NBA three-point shooters in 2019/20

The best three-point shooter in the 2019/20 NBA season was George Hill of the Milwaukee Bucks, who shot .460 from beyond the arc.

Hill made 81 of his 176 attempts from the three-point line.

The second-best three-point shooter from the most recent NBA season was New Orleans Pelicans guard J.J Redick, who shot .453 from distance.

The 36-year-old veteran made 180 of his 397 three-point shots.

Third on the list is Seth Curry of the Dallas Mavericks, who made 145 of his 321 attempts for a three-point shooting percentage of .452.

The fourth-best three-point shooter in 2019/20 was Duncan Robinson, who plays for the Miami Heat.

Robinson hit 270 of his 606 shots for a .446 season.

Coming in just behind him is Indiana Pacers forward Doug McDermott, who shot .435 for the season, making 128 of 294 shots from beyond the arc.

Best three-point shooters in NBA history (percentage)

The best three-point shooter in NBA history – among players to have made 1,000 shots – is Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, who has a career percentage of .435 from downtown.

Curry has hit 2,495 threes in his career – more than any other current player.

Second on the list is Kyle Korver of the Milwaukee Bucks, who has a career three-point mark of .429.

The third-best shooter in history in terms of percentage from long range is Steve Nash – the current head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.

Nash registered a career percentage of .428 from beyond the arc, making 1,685 of 3,939 attempts.

Fourth on the list is Curry’s teammate at Golden State, and other half of the ‘Splash Brothers’ – Klay Thompson.

Thompson has a current three-point field-goal percentage of .419.

J.J. Redick makes another appearance here as the fifth-most efficient shooter from downtown in NBA history, with a career mark of .416.

Best three-point shooters in NBA history (shots made)

The most prolific three-point shooter in NBA history is Ray Allen, who made 2,973 shots from distance over the course of his career.

Allen ended his career with a .400 percentage from distance.

Second on the list is Reggie Miller, who hit 2,560 three-pointers for the Indiana Pacers between 1987 and 2005.

Third is Steph Curry with 2,495, and fourth is Korver with 2,450.

Rounding off the list is James Harden of the Houston Rockets, who has made 2,324 trifectas in the NBA.
