Here are Jack Green's four NBA picks to consider for Wednesday night's game between the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors.

Raptors to win

In a meeting of two Eastern Conference teams that have yet to hit their stride this season, the Raptors should earn the win over the Heat on Wednesday night.

Toronto started the season 1-6 but have begun to turn that run around, winning four of six games since, including each of their last three.

Miami are going in the opposite direction, with three defeats from their last four games leaving them 5-7, and the reigning conference champions currently have a net rating of -3.5, which is the seventh worst in the NBA.

Under 222 total points

These teams both rank around the league average for points per game, with Miami averaging 110.3 and Toronto 111.8, but those numbers tend to drop when they play each other.

Two of the three meetings between the Heat and Raptors last year saw 210 points or fewer – one of which finished 84-76 – while the third was 108-108 at the end of regulation.

Fred VanVleet over 18.5 points

VanVleet is averaging 19 points per game and scored 36 in his last game against the Heat.

The point guard should have another big night in his match up with Miami’s Goran Dragic, who ranks 419th out of 467 players in defensive rating this season.

Duncan Robinson over 15.5 points

Robinson is averaging a career high 14.8 points per game this season and has scored 26-22-22-18 in his last four games.

With Jimmy Butler and Avery Bradley out for Wednesday night’s game and Tyler Herro questionable, Robinson should continue to see an increased role in Miami’s offense.
