Dallas Mavericks (+7.5) vs Milwaukee Bucks

The Mavericks are on a four-game winning streak, with all four of those victories coming by a margin of at least seven points.

Dallas have the fifth-best net rating of any team in the NBA, thanks largely to their excellent defence, which ranks as the second-best in the league.

They should be able to keep it close against the Bucks, who are 8-4 this season but have lost three games by double digits.

Utah Jazz (-6) vs Atlanta Hawks

Utah have won three consecutive games by double digits, climbing to third in the Western Conference with a 7-4 record.

The Hawks, meanwhile, are 5-5 having won just one of their last five games.

That win came against the Philadelphia 76ers, who had just seven players healthy and available to play after being ravaged by a Covid-19 outbreak.

Los Angeles Lakers (-10) vs New Orleans Pelicans

The Lakers are rolling at the moment, having won four straight games, the last three of which came by a margin of at least 17 points.

The defending champions are now 10-3 for the season and top of the West, while New Orleans have dropped into the bottom three of the conference after losing four consecutive games.

The Pelicans lost all four of their meetings with the Lakers last season, so it’s hard to see them keeping this one close on current form.

Los Angeles Clippers (-7) vs Sacramento Kings

The Clippers are second in the West despite not really hitting their stride yet this season, and they should have no trouble beating the Kings on Friday night.

Sacramento are 5-7 after losing six of their last eight games, with three of their last four defeats being blowouts of at least 20 points.

The numbers suggest the Kings are worse than their record, too, as they have the second-worst net rating in the NBA.
