Boston Celtics (-7) vs Sacramento Kings

The Celtics are enduring a disappointing season, with their 20-20 record falling well short of preseason expectations.

Nevertheless, they should comfortably beat the Kings, who are 16-24 this season, 7-12 on the road and have lost 13 of their last 17 games.

Despite their struggles, the Celtics have a 12-6 home record which is the fourth-best in the Eastern Conference.

Miami Heat (-4) vs Indiana Pacers

After an awful start, the Heat have put together a run of 11 wins in 13 games to climb all the way up to fourth in the East.

The defending conference champions are now 12-8 at home and their last nine wins have all come by a margin of at least five points.

The Pacers should put up little resistance on Friday night, having lost eight of their last 10 games to fall to 17-22 for the season.

Utah Jazz (-5) vs Toronto Raptors

The Jazz have cooled off after an incredible run through January and February, but they remain top of the West with a 29-11 record and rank first in the NBA in net rating.

The Raptors, meanwhile, are on a six-game losing streak having lost 116-112 to the Detroit Pistons – the East’s worst team – on Wednesday night.

Utah’s last 20 wins have all come by a margin of at least eight points, so it’s worth backing Quin Snyder’s team to cover the spread here.

Portland Trail Blazers (+3.5) vs Dallas Mavericks

The Trail Blazers won 121-118 when these teams last met in February and they are again the team to back on Friday night.

Portland has now won six of its last eight games, and its 13-7 home record is better than all but three teams in the West.

The Mavericks have been on a good run but they’ve lost two of their last four games by eight points or more and have a 10-9 record on the road this season.
