Cleveland Cavaliers (+9.5) vs Brooklyn Nets

The Cavaliers stunned the Nets in a 147-135 win on Wednesday night, and they’re again worth backing in this second half of a back-to-back.

Brooklyn are among the title favourites after acquiring James Harden to go along with fellow superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but the trio will likely take some time to gel and have been pretty awful defensively so far.

The Nets have lost three of their last seven games and their four wins during that run all came by single digits. Cleveland have won two games in a row, are 7-7 this season and should be able to at least keep this one close.

Phoenix Suns (-1) vs Denver Nuggets

The Suns have cooled off slightly after a red-hot start but remain the fourth seed in the Western Conference with an 8-5 record.

Phoenix have won three of four at home and beat the Nuggets 106-103 when these teams met in Denver earlier this month.

The Nuggets are 7-7 after making a slow start to the season and have lost two of their last four games, both by at least four points.

Los Angeles Clippers (-13) vs Oklahoma City Thunder

The Clippers are second in the West with an 11-4 record and have won five games in a row.

Their last three wins all came by a margin of 19 points or more, and their net rating is currently the third highest in the NBA.

Expect another comfortable win for LA against the Thunder, who have lost three of their last four games and have the league’s third-worst net rating.

New York Knicks (+4) vs Sacramento Kings

The Knicks have been one of the surprises of the season. Despite low pre-season expectations, they are 8-8 and currently occupy the sixth spot in the East.

New York have won three games in a row, two of which were blowouts, and now face possibly the worst team in the league in Sacramento.

The Kings have lost four straight games, have a 5-10 record and have the league’s lowest net rating.
