Indiana Pacers (+1.5) vs Dallas Mavericks
The Pacers lost to the Los Angeles Clippers last time out but remain in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with an 8-5 record.
They should bounce back with a win over the Mavericks, who have dropped outside the playoff spots after losing three consecutive games.
Dallas’ last two defeats came by margins of 16 and 23 points and they have a 3-5 record against Eastern Conference teams this season.
Atlanta Hawks (-5) vs Detroit Pistons
The Pistons’ 3-10 record is the worst in the NBA, and their 113-107 defeat to the Miami Heat on Monday means they’ve lost three of their last four games.
Nine of Detroit’s 10 defeats this season have come by a margin of at least six points and that form should continue against Atlanta.
The Hawks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves last time out to move to 6-7 for the season, and they currently have the league’s 10th-best net rating.
Toronto Raptors (-4) vs Miami Heat
The Raptors have started to turn their season around after a poor start by winning four of their last six games, including each of their last three.
Their resurgence should continue against the Heat, who have lost three of their last four.
The reigning Eastern Conference champions have dropped to 5-7 for the season and are currently without key players Jimmy Butler and Avery Bradley, while Tyler Herro is questionable for Wednesday night’s game.
Minnesota Timberwolves (+3.5) vs Orlando Magic
The Timberwolves have struggled badly this season, with their 3-9 record leaving them bottom of the Western Conference.
This is a chance to turn their form around, though, as the Magic have been just as bad of late, losing six consecutive games by a margin of at least seven points.
With the Magic currently missing seven players including Markelle Fultz, Michael Carter-Williams and Evan Fournier, it’s worth taking the points and backing Minnesota at home.
