Cleveland Cavaliers (-2.5) vs Detroit Pistons
The Cavaliers have lost two consecutive games to drop to 8-9 for the season but should bounce back against the struggling Pistons.
Detroit are 14th in the Eastern Conference with a 4-13 record and are 1-6 in road games this season.
Ten of the Pistons’ 13 defeats this season have come by a margin of at least six points, so it’s worth backing the Cavs to cover here.
Toronto Raptors (+6) vs Milwaukee Bucks
The Raptors have had a disappointing season so far, but they’ve won five of their last seven and should at least keep it close against the Bucks.
Milwaukee are third in the East with a 10-6 record but are just 3-4 on the road after defeats to the Celtics, Knicks, Heat and Nets.
The Raptors are 5-3 at home and have won four of their last five games in their temporary Tampa home.
Boston Celtics (-3.5) vs San Antonio Spurs
The Celtics have climbed to second in the East, winning seven of their last 10 games to take their record to 10-6.
Their last two wins have been blowouts against the Cavaliers and Bulls, and they should again win comfortably against the Spurs, who are 9-8 and ninth in the West.
San Antonio have been inconsistent this season and have struggled at home, losing five of their eight games to date.
Utah Jazz (-3.5) vs Dallas Mavericks
The Jazz are on a nine-game winning streak following their victory over the Knicks on Tuesday night, and eight of those nine wins have come by double digits.
Fatigue may be a factor for Utah in the second game of a double-header, but they’re still worth backing to beat the Mavericks, who have struggled recently.
Dallas have lost five of their last seven games, with three of those defeats coming by a margin of at least 16 points.
