Boston Celtics to beat Cleveland Cavaliers -

In a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference finals, expect the Celtics – and former Cavalier Kyrie Irving – to come out on top.

Boston have won 16 of their 21 home games this season, and are on a three-game winning streak that includes a 99-98 victory over the Houston Rockets – the West’s second-best team.

Cleveland, meanwhile, have lost eight of 18 on the road, including their last three.

They won at home to the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, but were helped by the return of point guard Isaiah Thomas, who will be rested as he works his way back from a long-term injury.

Minnesota Timberwolves to beat Brooklyn Nets –

Minnesota are one of the NBA’s hottest teams, winning seven of their last eight games and only losing to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Four of those wins came on the road, and they should notch another against a Nets side that have won just three of their last 11.

Brooklyn rank 26th in points allowed this season, and will struggle to defend against a Timberwolves offense that is averaging the sixth-most points in the league.

Toronto Raptors to beat Chicago Bulls –

The Raptors beat the Bucks 131-127 in overtime on Monday night, meaning they’ve now won 14 of their last 17 games.

Toronto haven’t dominated on the road the way that they have on their own court this season, but they shouldn’t have much trouble against a Bulls team that have lost nine of 18 in Chicago.

The two games between these sides this season ended 117-100 and 119-114 to the Raptors, and they should make it three wins from three on Wednesday night.

New Orleans Pelicans to beat Utah Jazz –

The Pelicans have lost back-to-back games, but should get back on track against the struggling Jazz.

Utah have won just three of their last 13 games, with three streaks of three defeats or more during that spell.

The Jazz are generally a good defensive team but have struggled at that end of the court recently, conceding an average of 108 points over their last eight games, which doesn’t bode well against the league’s fourth-highest scorers.
