Detroit Pistons to beat Orlando Magic -

The Magic have lost nine consecutive games for the second time this season, and their shocking run should hit double figures against the Pistons.

Detroit have won five of their last six games, one of which was a 114-110 victory over Orlando at home on 17 December.

The Piston led comfortably throughout that game before allowing it to get close late on, and should be similarly dominant on Thursday night given how poor the Magic have looked recently.

San Antonio Spurs (-12.5) to beat New York Knicks -

Expect the Spurs to improve their home record to 17-2 with an easy win over the Knicks.

San Antonio have won 11 successive games at the AT&T Center, where they’ve scored an average of 106.3 points per game and conceded just 98.4.

Bank on a wide margin of victory against the Knicks, who have lost three successive games, averaging 95.3 points over that spell.

Boston Celtics to beat Houston Rockets -

The Rockets have lost three successive games after a streak of 14 victories, and they will struggle to get back to winning ways against the East-leading Celtics.

Boston have been inconsistent over the past couple of weeks, but they have won 14 of 19 at home this season and 10 of 12 against Western Conference sides.

They are the team to back on Thursday night, especially considering Houston will be without injured centre Clint Capela.

Minnesota Timberwolves to beat Milwaukee Bucks -

The Timberwolves are on a five-game winning streak – three of which were on the road – and scored over 108 points in each one.

The league’s sixth-highest scorers should stay hot against a Bucks team that have lost back-to-back games, and five of the last seven.

Milwaukee have been average on both sides of the court this season, ranking 14th in points per game and 17th in points allowed, and they’ll struggle to outscore the in-form Timberwolves.
