It's one of the more elegant buffets in Vegas and boasts an omelette bar, carving station, plus a great Asian food bar.

7. Top of the World

Where: Stratosphere, Las Vegas

Try the... Wagyu Filet and Lobster Tail

Vertigo sufferers can probably give the highest restaurant in Vegas a miss.

Everyone else, head up to the 107 Sky Lounge, enjoy 360-degree views of Sin City, and tuck in to two-for-one cocktails and Wagyu Ribeye.

In fact, you'll be spending so long looking at the floral arrangements you may forget to indulge in everything from tacos and black mussels to prime rib cooked on an open fire.

Where: SLS Hotel, Las Vegas

Try the... dainty Sloppy Joe sandwich in a steamed bun. Just kidding, it's the massive Angus steaks.

Meat-eaters will salivate at this award-winning restaurant complete with fire pit and 'raw bar'.

The tartars, carpaccios, and cured meats will get you set up for the Wagyu or Black Angus oak-wood cooked steaks.

3. Le Train Bleu

Where: Casino Monte-Carlo, Monte-Carlo

Try the... Roulette

If you can afford to spend a few days gambling in Monte-Carlo, you're probably not too concerned with the prices at Le Train Bleu, the Casino de Monte-Carlo's best restaurant.

The views of the Mediterranean draw the punters in, but it's the Orient Express styling (hence the "train" part of the name) that really looks the business.

Best of all, the roulette and blackjack tables are a stone's throw from the restaurant doors.

Flowers and perfume are banned at this Vegas restaurant overseen by Michelin-starred chef, Guy Savoy - all the better for diners wanting to savour the unbelievable smells coming from the kitchen.

Stay for the artichoke soup with black truffles before venturing into the new Caviar Room to feast on an exclusive menu.

No wonder the restaurant has won Forbes' five-star award four years in a row.

1. Robuchon au Dome

Where: Grand Lisboa, Macau

Try the...home-made Iberico crispy pork sausage with mushrooms

If you're visiting the gambling mecca of Macau, a visit to the three-Michelin star home of chef Joel Robuchon is a must. You can enjoy great views of the city while filling your belly with mini-burgers, confit duck leg, or black cod in pepper sauce.

Just don't crick your neck straining to take in the Swarovski chandelier made up of 131,500 pieces of glass.
