ICE Totally Gaming is one of the casino and sports betting industry's biggest expos.

But what did players learn from the 2019 ICE exhibition, and what can they expect to find online in the coming months?

We take a closer look at some of the big new releases and previews showcased in London in February.

Big new branded slots from Microgaming

Microgaming always go to town at ICE Totally Gaming. While there was no repeat of the giant animatronic T-Rex from 2015 to promote the new Jurassic Park slot, there were still some big new announcements.

A sequel to Agent Jane Blonde, titled Agent Jane Blonde Returns, was announced.

A slick update to the players' favourite, Agent Jane Blonde features better graphics and all-new bonus features.

The new slot has been produced in partnership with Stormcraft Studios. In fact, 2019 saw many of Microgaming's studio partners getting their own space at the Microgaming stand.

Stormcraft were able to showcase new slots alongside Fortune Factory Studios, who are launching the Village People slot for Microgaming.

Triple Edge Studios announced a new Lara Croft Tomb Raider game too, also produced for Microgaming.

And Slingshot Studios are joining the party with some exclusive Microgaming slots like Banana Odyssey.

Look out for great new Microgaming games in the Betway Casino online slots lobby this year.

Evolution improve their live casino games

Evolution Gaming are the leader in live casino games. And the developer went full throttle at ICE Totally Gaming 2019, launching no fewer than 10 new games.

The highlight was a new Deal or No Deal Live game, based on the popular TV show.

It's a move away from traditional table games for Evolution, as they show what can be possible in live dealer gaming.

Also launched by Evolution Gaming was Free Bet Blackjack. It's a new online blackjack variant based on the popular land-based game.

In Free Bet Blackjack, the player's splits and double-down wagers are free. This gives you more freedom when playing a hand.

NetEnt hit the branded slots in full force

Never to be outdone, Scandinavian developer NetEnt used ICE 2019 to launch their fresh online slot, Conan.

Based on the classic fantasy character of books and films, Conan joined a host of recent branded slots from NetEnt, including TV-themed games, Narcos and Vikings.

Narcos and Vikings illustrated a move away from big blockbuster-themed slots for the large developers. Narcos and Vikings have been hits on cable and online streaming services. This could be the start of a trend to focus on TV-themed slots rather than expensive games based on the latest summer blockbusters.

NetEnt also revealed a fresh addition to their range of music-themed slots. Ozzy Osbourne will join the likes of Motorhead, Guns 'N Roses, and Jimi Hendrix in having a video slot made in his honour.

Big new releases for 2019

2019 is set to be another exciting year for slots and table game players. ICE Totally Gaming showcased some interesting new releases.

But one thing to take away was a bigger involvement in independent studios.

With slicker games being produced by young, fresh development studios, that means even better slots for players to enjoy at casinos.
