With Christmas out of the way, Microgaming will be looking ahead to the New Year with a raft of fresh online slot releases.

The Great Albini slot has been produced in conjunction with hotshot designers, Foxium.

In recent months, the Estonian developer has released games as diverse as Astro Legends: Lyra and Erion, a neon-soaked ride through a sci-fi landscape, and Adelia the Fortune Wielder. Both games were released in 2018 through Microgaming.

The Great Albini centres around a legendary magician and his glamorous assistant, Lily. The lights dim and a great puff of smoke goes up as the reels begin to spin.

The slot is played on a standard set of 5x3 reels, and players will be able to spread their bankroll over 25 fixed paylines.

Free spins are triggered by landing a giant 3x3 bonus symbol on the reels. There are 25 fixed paylines in the base game and this doubles to 50 in the bonus game.

The reels enlarge to incorporate six rows instead of the usual three. During the free spins, wins are also multiplied by 2x.

Microgaming have already released one sci-fi slot this year. In 2019, they will unleash another when Shogun of Time hits casino lobbies.

Shogun of Time has been developed by JFTW and marries a futuristic Manga cartoon style with a martial arts theme.

The slot will boast betting limits of 0.10 up to 100.00, and there is a choice of win ways. Players can get the chance to bet on 81 paylines or try their luck with 243 ways to win.

With medium volatility, Shogun of Time is pretty much in line with other recent Microgaming releases.
