Mohammad Hafeez to score over 25.5 runs

Hafeez has been quietly solid in this tournament, getting out to part-time off-spin on three occasions when well set for a big score.

He has passed this mark in three of his last five innings, including scoring 32 against New Zealand on Wednesday.

Wahab Riaz to take over 1.5 wickets

Wahab had taken eight wickets in four matches prior to Wednesday’s game against New Zealand, when he was unlucky not to take at least one.

Afghanistan – who have struggled against Mohammed Shami and Jofra Archer recently – are unlikely to fare well against his pace.

Shadab Khan to take over 1.5 wickets

After Shakib Al-Hasan took five wickets against them on Monday, Afghanistan are also likely to lose some wickets to spin.

Shadab bowled nicely against New Zealand, taking one wicket but threatening more, and had passed this mark in two of his previous three matches.
