Here are Guy Giles' cricket betting tips for the match between South Africa and Afghanistan, which starts at 13:30 on Saturday.
Faf du Plessis to score over 35.5 runs
Du Plessis is one of the few South African players to have turned up at this World Cup, hitting 62 and 38 against Bangladesh and India respectively.
The Proteas skipper has passed this mark in eight of his last 10 ODI innings.
Hazratullah Zazai to score over 22.5 runs
Hazratullah was dismissed for a duck in Afghanistan’s opener but has enjoyed himself since then, smashing 30 and 34 in their next two matches.
The opening batsman generally operates at a strike rate well in excess of 100, so could reach this mark quickly on Saturday.
Kagiso Rabada to take over 1.5 wickets
Rabada has been slightly disappointing so far, taking just four wickets across South Africa’s three completed matches.
But the 24-year-old should add to that tally against one of the weakest sides in the tournament, on a Cardiff pitch that has seen seamers take 35 of the 46 wickets to fall.
