Team batting first to score 300+ runs -

This series has been dominated by batsmen, with the first innings in each of the last three ODIs passing 300.

The team batting first has passed this mark in every 50-over match at Old Trafford this season, so expect another tough day for the bowlers first up on Sunday.

Jonny Bairstow to score over 36.5 runs –

There is always the nagging doubt that Bairstow’s golden run has to end at some point but, statistically, this is a safe bet.

The 28-year-old has hit four centuries, a half-century and a 42 in his last seven ODI innings, and the Australian bowlers appear to have no answer to his brutal ball-striking.

Adil Rashid to take over 1.5 wickets -

Having successfully tipped Rashid wickets in the last two matches, there is no reason to stop now.

England’s mystery spinner was expensive in Durham on Thursday, but still passed this mark for the sixth consecutive ODI.

Billy Stanlake to take over 0.5 wickets -

Stanlake is one of few positives that Australia can take from the shellacking that they’ve received during the last fortnight.

His economy rate was better than average as England smashed 481 at Trent Bridge on Tuesday, while he’s picked up the wickets of Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root across his other two appearances in the series.
