Team batting second to win –

India have been superb chasers for many years, and have reinforced that reputation during the last week by brilliantly beating England in a T20 and ODI while batting second.

But, having won the last 13 ODIs in which they have chased, Eoin Morgan’s side are also a fair bet to win should they bowl first.

Under 600.5 match runs –

Not since the famous 2002 ODI between these two – defined by Nasser Hussain’s redemptive century and Sourav Ganguly’s shirtless celebration – has this mark been passed at Lord’s, with the 28 matches since all falling short of 600 runs.

It is notoriously difficult to score quickly at the home of cricket, while the big boundaries don’t help batsmen much, either.

Ben Stokes to score over 27.5 runs –

Despite opening himself up to criticism by batting so slowly, Stokes looked in decent nick as he returned from injury with a half-century in Thursday’s first ODI.

England’s all-rounder has now passed this mark in six of his last seven ODIs on home soil.

India total runs first over to fifth over: Over 27.5 runs –

India comfortably passed this mark in the first match, taking 37 from the first five overs of their innings.

Though scoring is unlikely to be quite so easy here, Mark Wood and David Willey are not in good enough form to pose Rohit Sharma – who has hit two centuries inside the last week – and Shikhar Dhawan too many problems.
