Joe Root to score over 38.5 runs –

Root has scored at least 39 in 11 of his last 18 ODI innings.

He scored 49* and 73 against Ireland at the start of last summer, so ought to chip in once more against a not too dissimilar calibre of opposition.

Adil Rashid to take 3+ wickets -

Rashid is comfortably England’s top wicket-taker since the start of last summer, and is now focusing exclusively on white-ball cricket at county and international level.

He took a 5-fer against Ireland a year ago, and is capable of similar in this match.
