DC v RR betting tips & odds:

Total first innings runs: over 170.5

First innings scores are coming down as surfaces get slower and slower at the IPL, but this still looks decent value as an odds-against pick.

Four of Delhi’s six first innings have passed this mark, as has one of Rajasthan’s two. This threshold has also been passed in seven of the last 10 matches at Dubai.

Ben Stokes to score over 20.5 runs

Stokes opened the innings in his first game back for Rajasthan, and, though he failed then, it isn’t a bad time to bat against Delhi.

An opposition opener has passed this mark in five of Delhi’s last seven matches, with their best bowler, Kagiso Rabada, generally saved for the death overs.

Kagiso Rabada to be top Delhi Capitals bowler

Rabada has mopped up at the death for the Capitals so far.

He is the leading wicket-taker in the competition, with the majority of his 17 wickets coming in the second half of innings, while he has won in this market in his last three matches.

Jofra Archer to be top Rajasthan Royals bowler

Archer is Rajasthan’s best bowler by some distance.

He has picked up nine wickets in the competition so far (RR’s next best is Rahul Tewatia on five) and has at least tied in this market in four of his last five matches.
