KXIP to have the highest opening partnership

KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal are one of the best opening pairs in the tournament, compiling stands of 38, 183, 57 and 30 so far.

Their Chennai counterparts have managed just one partnership exceeding 50 in their four matches so far, with Shane Watson looking particularly out of nick.

Nicholas Pooran to score over 17.5 runs

Pooran looks to be coming into some form for Kings XI, following up a duck in their opening match with innings of 17, 25* and 44.

He looks a good bet to pass this relatively low runs mark again on Sunday.

Mohammed Shami to take over 1.5 wickets

Shami is having a great tournament so far, taking eight wickets in four matches to sit joint-top of the wickets table.

He should find more joy on Sunday against a Chennai side that are bottom of the table.

Sam Curran player performance: Over 32.5

Curran has been bright for the Super Kings in an otherwise forgettable IPL so far, with the England international taking five wickets and averaging 25.50 with the bat.

Should he take a wicket on Sunday – as he has done in three of his four matches – he would need just 13 runs to pass this mark.
