These two teams have made similar starts to the tournament, with Sunrisers winning three and Kolkata winning four of their first eight matches.

Kolkata look in particularly poor form at the moment though, losing their last two games by margins of 82 runs and eight wickets.

Sunrisers have had a five-day break and will be far fresher than their opponents, who were thrashed by Mumbai on Friday.

Kane Williamson to score over 21.5 runs

Williamson has made a decent start to his IPL campaign, passing this mark in three of his six innings, including scores of 41 and 57.

He averages more than 30 in this format across his entire career, so backing him to do so again on Sunday looks a decent bet.

Varun Chakravarthy to take a wicket

Chakravarthy has been Kolkata’s best bowler to this point, taking six wickets in seven matches.

He has claimed at least one scalp in five of those seven, including in three of four games at Abu Dhabi.

Andre Russell to hit a six

Russell is one of the biggest hitters in the IPL, although he hasn’t quite hit his best form with the bat so far.

He has cleared the ropes in four of his seven innings so far.
