First innings: Under 299.5 runs –

No team has passed 300 in four ODIs at this ground, with only three innings even reaching 250.

Considering several members of both team’s batting line-ups aren’t in great form, a score of 300+ is unlikely.

Joe Root: Over 36.5 runs –

Root picked up where he left off in Australia with a score of 71 in the first match to help England post a respectable total.

England’s Test captain has now passed this mark 10 times in his last 14 ODI innings.

Colin Munro: Under 26.5 runs –

Munro, who has generally reserved his best performances for T20s, averages just 25.9 in ODIs since the start of 2017.

He has failed to reach this mark in 10 of his 17 innings during that period, and, as evidenced in the first match when he scored just six, will find life difficult against a strong England new-ball attack.

Ben Stokes: Under 1.5 wickets –

Stokes took two wickets in his first international match for five months on Sunday, but that he appeared to be suffering from cramp after bowling just eight overs suggests that he is far from full fitness.

The all-rounder has taken more than one wicket in just four of his last 25 ODIs, so is a solid bet to fall short of this benchmark on Wednesday.
