Here are Adam Drury's cricket tips for the second T20 at Kingsmead, which starts at 16:00 on Friday.

Under 335.5 runs in the match

The last three T20s on this ground have all come in under this mark, and some weaknesses in both batting line-ups means that backing against runs is the play again.

England have a phenomenal set of individuals to pick from, but are struggling to find the right balance. Opening up with Jos Buttler means that they lack somebody to provide impetus at the end of the innings, which cost them the first match

South Africa, meanwhile, are entirely reliant on their top four for runs. England were able to slow down their innings quite comfortably after taking their third wicket on Wednesday.

Jonny Bairstow to score over 24.5 runs

Bairstow only scored 23 in Wednesday’s opener, but he looks in fantastic form.

The 30-year-old smashed 43 off 23 balls in the third ODI between these two on Sunday and, after being dropped from the Test match squad this week, looks in the mood to prove people wrong.

Ben Stokes to score under 18.5 runs

Stokes batted at No. 6 in Wednesday’s match, only managing four from seven balls.

He is unlikely to have the time to play a long innings if he bats in the same position here, while he has only passed this mark in two of his last 15 T20I innings.

Top South Africa batsman: Quinton de Kock

This was a solid bet in the ODI series, landing in both of the completed matches, and was only beaten by Temba Bavuma’s 43 in the first T20.

De Kock has still passed 50 in two of his last three international innings in this format, so will go close to coming out on top in this match.

Top England bowler: Adil Rashid

On the evidence of his two white-ball appearances so far on this tour, Rashid’s shoulder problems are behind him.

The 31-year-old was excellent in the last ODI, taking three wickets, while Jason Roy dropped a sitter to deny this bet in the first T20.
