Fast bowler Jason Gillespie made his name as one of Australia's finest ever Test cricketers, taking 259 wickets in 71 matches between 1996 and 2006.

But having been dropped after his side's defeat in the 2005 Ashes, Gillespie's international career seemed to be over, so selection for the tour of Bangladesh in early 2006 was a welcome reprieve.

While Gillespie didn't make enough of an impact with the ball to prolong his Test career any further, he did produce arguably the most memorable moment of his career - scoring his first Test hundred, and then doubling it to finish on 201*.

In an exclusive conversation with Darren Gough in the Players' Lounge, Gillespie - who will coach the Adelaide Strikers in the 2020 Big Bash - tells the incredible story of how a bowler with little reputation as a batsman made a double hundred in his final Test innings.
