The Renegades are out of contention to make the Finals but secured a morale-boosting win in their most recent match against Melbourne rivals, the Stars.

Brisbane, meanwhile, saw their hopes of a Finals berth take a serious blow with a comprehensive loss to Adelaide on Thursday.
