Here are four cricket betting tips that Guy Giles thinks you should consider for the BBL 10 Challenger between Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat on Thursday.

Perth Scorchers to win

Perth missed out on qualification for the final with a below-par performance against the Sixers in the Qualifier, but should have enough to beat the Heat on Thursday.

Brisbane have exceeded all expectations by making it to this stage, but this feels like a step too far against the Scorchers, who have been one of the best teams throughout the tournament.

Perth Scorchers to have the highest opening partnership

Despite reeling off some impressive results in recent weeks, the Heat have consistently lost early wickets.

Brisbane’s first wicket has fallen for 25 runs or fewer in six of their last eight matches, including three opening stands of less than 10 runs.

The Scorchers, meanwhile, have amassed three half-centuries and one century opening stand in that period.

Colin Munro to score over 23.5 runs

Munro is the Scorchers’ top scorer in BBL 10, amassing 441 runs in 14 matches at an average of 33.92.

The New Zealand international has passed this mark in seven of his last 10 innings, and in both of his previous matches at the Manuka Oval.

Mark Steketee to be Brisbane Heat top bowler

Steketee has taken 24 wickets in 15 matches this season – 10 more than any other Brisbane bowler – with his impressive form earning him a spot in the Australia Test squad.

The seamer has taken two wickets in each of his two matches at the Manuka Oval this season, so looks a good bet to outshine his teammates again on Thursday.
