The Stars kicked off their BBL 10 campaign with a six-wicket win over the Brisbane Heat on Friday, and should make it two from two against the Thunder.

They have the best squad in the competition, and will be in good rhythm having played the day before.

Marcus Stoinis to score under 26.5 runs 

Stoinis was dismissed for a second-ball duck against Brisbane and has now failed to score in three of his last four innings in all formats.

Last year’s leading run-scorer will inevitably find some form soon, but backing him to fall short again on Saturday looks a good bet.

Alex Hales to score over 24.5 runs 

England outcast Hales loves playing in the BBL – he averages more than 30 over his seven seasons and is approaching 1000 runs in the competition.

Glenn Maxwell to be Stars’ top batsman 

Maxwell came to the crease with his side in an awkward position against the Heat, but expertly steered them towards victory with an innings of 46.
