Here are Tom Clee's darts betting tips for the fifth night in Aberdeen.

MICHAEL SMITH v ROB CROSS

Cross to win and checkout over 109.5, over 7.5 total 180s

Cross has averaged over 102 in three of his four Premier League matches, and only allowed Daryl Gurney one shot at double last week in a 7-1 win.

He followed that by reaching the UK Open final at the weekend, where he beat Smith 11-7 in the semis.

Voltage nailed three finishes of 120 or more in that match, to go with a 114, 138 and 143 in his three games before that.

They also shared 13 maximums at an average of 0.72 per leg, so should easily manage to reach this combined total.

DARYL GURNEY v JAMES WADE

Wade to win and hit the most 180s, highest match checkout over 119.5

These players were miles apart last week, so it makes sense to back the man in form.

After Gurney had failed to get a sniff against Cross, Wade wiped the floor with Michael van Gerwen to move to second in the table.

Wade has hit twice as many 180s as his opponent so far, outscoring him in every round of fixtures so far.

At least one of these players has checked out on 121 or higher each week, so it's far to expect at least one big finish.

MENSUR SULJOVIC v GERWYN PRICE

Price to win, hit over 3.5 180s and checkout over 100.5

Price continued his impressive recent form by getting to the last four of the UK Open over the weekend.

And, having won nine of his 13 matches against Suljovic, he's a good bet to end a run of three successive draws.

The Welshman's finishing was superb in Minehead, with 11 ton-plus checkouts over five matches, including six of 144 and above.

He's also hit as least four 180s in three of his four matches in this competition to move into the lead when it comes to maximums.

RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD v PETER WRIGHT

Under 10.5 total legs, under 5.5 total 180s, highest match checkout under 109.5

This is a horrible match to call between two out-of-form players, so let's keep it vague.

These players beat each other 7-2 and 7-1 last season, and their current struggles mean at least one of them is likely to have an off day.

They've not combined for more than five 180s in any of the last three weeks.

They also boast a highest finish of just 104 between them, and even that came on the opening night.

MICHAEL VAN GERWEN v JOHN HENDERSON

Van Gerwen to win, Van Gerwen under 3.5 180s, Henderson to checkout over 115.5

Van Gerwen's perfect start to the season was ended last week, but he ought to bounce straight back against this week's contender.

Henderson actually won the last time these two players met in 2017, but had lost eight in a row before that.

The Scotsman's finishing was impressive at the Worlds, however, with three checkouts of 116 or more in both his matches on the Ally Pally stage.

MVG, meanwhile, hasn't managed more than three 180s since the opening night, and is switching down the board with increasing regularity.
