Here are Tom Clee's darts betting tips for the sixth night in Nottingham.

NATHAN ASPINALL v MICHAEL SMITH

Aspinall to win and hit the highest checkout, Smith to hit the most 180s

Smith is one point off the bottom of the table having won one of his first five matches this season.

So Aspinall, fresh from his UK Open triumph last weekend, looks a great price to get the contenders' first win on the board.

He hit seven ton-plus checkouts in six matches in Minehead, including a 170 to seal the title.

Smith hasn't landed a three-figure finish for four weeks, but has rattled in more maximums than any other player.

JAMES WADE v MENSUR SULJOVIC

Wade to win, hit the most 180s and checkout over 115.5

Wade moved top of the league on leg difference after whitewashing Daryl Gurney 7-0 last Thursday.

And having beaten Suljovic in two of their three meetings last year, this looks an ideal fixture to cement his position in the top four.

Suljovic has only hit five 180s in the last four weeks, during which time Wade has racked up 12.

The Machine has also been the most clinical finisher so far, with six checkouts of 116 or more.

ROB CROSS v RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD

Cross to win and checkout over 111.5, Van Barneveld highest checkout under 82.5

Cross sits second in the table having averaged over 102 in four of his five matches, while Van Barneveld is starting to lose touch at the bottom.

There's little to separate these two in terms of 180s, so you're better of focusing on checkouts.

Voltage has hit two of the three biggest finishes during the last fortnight with a 153 and 164.

Barney, on the other hand, has managed a high of 92 in the last four rounds of fixtures.

GERWYN PRICE v MICHAEL VAN GERWEN

Van Gerwen to win, Van Gerwen under 2.5 180s, Price to checkout over 103.5

Van Gerwen has taken one point from his last two matches, but will surely bounce back against Price.

The Welshman has lost all 13 of his previous meetings with MVG, including a 7-3 defeat at the same venue in this competition last season.

Price has racked up five checkouts of 107 or more during his last four games, so he should still manage to finish at least one leg with a flourish.

Van Gerwen, meanwhile, has struggled on the 180s, averaging two per night for the last four weeks.

PETER WRIGHT v DARYL GURNEY

Wright to win and hit over 2.5 180s, Gurney under 2.5 180s

Gurney has only won one leg during his last two matches, so I'll steer clear of him here.

His scoring is nowhere near what it was last season, averaging just 1.4 maximums per match.

That's less than half Wright's tally, who has hit three or more in all but one of his matches so far.

Snakebite hasn't been playing particularly well, but has only lost one game and can take advantage of his opponent's poor form on Thursday.
