Here are Tom Clee's darts betting tips for the first night of the second phase in Belfast.

MENSUR SULJOVIC v JAMES WADE

Wade to win, hit the most 180s and highest checkout

Wade lost 7-3 to Suljovic in week six but, after averaging 102.9 across his two matches in Rotterdam, has the form to reverse that result.

He's hit the second-most 180s in the tournament, including nine last week, while Suljovic has the joint-fewest.

The Machine also boasts the league's highest checkout percentage of 46.9, hitting twice as many 100+ finishes as the Austrian.

Coming off the back of a nine-darter in the German Darts Championship over the weekend, another three-dart combination is easily achievable.

MICHAEL SMITH v PETER WRIGHT

Smith to win, Smith highest checkout under 90.5, both players over 1.5 180s

Smith led 5-2 when these players drew in week two and won both their Premier League meetings the season before that 7-1.

Wright is also in wretched form, averaging just 87.47 across his two defeats in Rotterdam.

Bully Boy has only checked out more than 90 in one of his last eight matches in this competition.

Both he and Snakebite are steady 180s scorers, only failing to hit two or more once all season.

ROB CROSS v DARYL GURNEY

Cross to win, over 7.5 total 180s, Gurney highest checkout under 99.5

Gurney won his first European Tour title over the weekend to move up to No. 3 in the PDC Order of Merit.

But he's still some way behind Cross, who showed real steel to overcome Jeffrey de Zwaan last week for his fifth win in six.

He hit eight maximums in that match, the highest haul of the season so far, while Gurney has hit four or more in three of his last four matches.

The Northern Irishman hasn't hit a three-figure out in six Premier League matches and didn't top this mark once in winning the German Darts Championship

MICHAEL VAN GERWEN v GERWYN PRICE

Van Gerwen (-2.5), Price to hit the most 180s, highest match checkout over 119.5

Van Gerwen has won all 15 of his previous meetings with Price, including 7-2 and 7-3 victories in the Premier League.

And given he won both his matches in Rotterdam last week 7-1, the handicap feels like the right way to go again.

Price has hit the most 180s this season with four or more in seven of his nine matches, whereas MVG has only managed more than three in a third of his matches.

At least one of these players has checked out on 123 or above in five of the last six rounds of fixtures, so expect another big finish.
