Here are Tom Clee's darts betting tips for the second night in Rotterdam.

DARYL GURNEY v MENSUR SULJOVIC

Gurney to win or draw, under 5.5 total 180s, Suljovic to checkout over 100.5

Suljovic has won three games on the spin, but I'm happy to back Gurney not to lose despite being the underdog.

He currently edges the head-to-head after winning this fixture 7-3 last season and, having beaten Van Gerwen last week, boasts the slightly stronger form.

I've a theory that Suljovic's ponderous throwing style can often interrupt his opponents' rhythm, with only one of his matches so far producing more than five 180s.

The Austrian took out a 120 and 136 on Wednesday, with highest outs of 94, 109 and 121 in the previous four weeks.

PETER WRIGHT v GERWYN PRICE

Wright to win, Price to hit the most 180s, Price highest checkout

Price has won just one of his last seven matches, losing the last three.

He beat Wright the last time they played at the World Series of Darts, but had lost 10 and drawn one of their 11 meetings before that.

He's been prolific when it comes to 180s, hitting four or more in six of his matches so far, something Wright has only managed to do twice.

Snakebite's highest tournament checkout of 100 came all the way back in week one, whereas Price nailed a 116 and 141 last night alone.

ROB CROSS v JEFFREY DE ZWAAN

Cross to win, De Zwaan to hit the most 180s, highest match checkout under 120.5

Cross was coasting at 5-1 up against Suljovic on Wednesday, so I’ll treat what happened after that as an aberration.

Having responded to his only other defeat this season by winning four in a row, he has a great chance to get back on track against the final contender.

De Zwaan averaged 106.09 when he played Cross on the opening night of the Worlds in December and still couldn't beat him, though he did win the 180s battle.

Given Voltage has missed his last 11 darts at double and gone two weeks without a three-figure checkout, we're unlikely to see a spectacular finish in this match.

RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD v MICHAEL VAN GERWEN

Van Gerwen (-3.5), Van Gerwen under 2.5 180s, highest match checkout under 120.5

These two were on opposite ends of 7-1 scorelines on Wednesday, so the handicap feels like the right way to go.

Van Barneveld's average of 81.96 on Wednesday was the lowest of this Premier League season so far. With nothing to play for and against an opponent as ruthless as Van Gerwen, things could get messy.

MVG has only hit more than two 180s one in his last six matches and is quick to switch down the board rather than persevere on the 20s.

Don't expect a massive checkout, either, given this this pair have only surpassed this mark three times in 16 matches combined.

JAMES WADE v MICHAEL SMITH

Wade to win, Smith highest checkout under 90.5, both players to hit over 2.5 180s

Wade produced the highest average of the night on Wednesday against Dimitri Van Den Bergh to stay in the top four.

He's won 12 of his 15 career meetings with Smith, including all four since the start of 2018.

These are two of the three highest 180 scorers this season, with both players hitting three or more in six of their eight games.

Smith, though, has struggled on the finishing front, only taking out more than 90 in two matches so far.
