Here are Tom Clee's darts betting tips for the night 12 in Cardiff.

MENSUR SULJOVIC v DARYL GURNEY

Gurney to win and hit the most 180s, highest match checkout under 112.5

Gurney has won four of his last five matches against Suljovic, including a 7-3 victory in this competition three weeks ago.

The Northern Irishman is finally starting to get his eye in on the 180s, rattling off six in two of the last three weeks.

This pair have managed the joint-fewest 100+ checkouts in the tournament, though, so don't expect a big finish.

Having topped this mark in one their last 14 matches combined, unders is definitely the way to go.

ROB CROSS v MICHAEL VAN GERWEN

Cross to win, hit the most 180s and score the highest checkout

Cross has won seven of his last eight games (and led 5-1 in the other), during which time Van Gerwen has dropped points on four separate occasions.

He's also hit more 100+ checkouts during the last three weeks than MVG has managed all season.

The Dutchman has only hit more than two 180s twice in his last seven matches, whereas Cross has racked up 15 in his last three.

You're not going to get a better chance to back against MVG all season and, based on the above, it makes sense to go all in on the match treble.

MICHAEL SMITH v GERWYN PRICE

Smith to win, both players to hit over 2.5 180s, highest match checkout over 122.5

Smith leads the head-to-head against Price 12-5, including victories of 7-2 and 7-5 in this competition.

He's also coming off the back of a productive weekend that saw him reach the final and semi-final of two Players Championships, losing to the eventual winner James Wade in both.

These are two of the top three 180 throwers this season, both averaging over three per match.

They've also managed to checkout 127 or more between them in seven of the last eight rounds of fixtures.

PETER WRIGHT v JAMES WADE

Wade to win, under 7.5 total 180s, both players to checkout over 99.5

These players drew when they met earlier in the season, but Wade's superior form means he has to be backed here.

The Machine completed a Players Championship double over the weekend, taking his tally to three in eight days.

These players not spectacular 180 scorers, only managing more than seven between them once all season.

Wade has hit eight 100+ finishes in his last nine matches, while Wright has rediscovered his touch with four in the last three weeks.
