This looks a generous mark for two players who failed to register a single three-figure checkout between them in their previous matches.

Aspinall, on the other hand, hoovered up a 91, 92 and 96 under real pressure and came up with an incredible 140 finish to swing the game.

Reyes made hard work of getting past John-Rowby Rodriguez on Thursday, having to come from two sets down despite breaking in the first leg of the match.

He only hit two maximums in a match that went the distance and, despite registering four ton-plus finishes, boasted a highest out of just 108.

Cross did well to overcome an in-form Jeffrey de Zwaan on the opening night and, having had 10 days to prepare while watching the draw open up for him, should put on a convincing performance.
