Jelle Klaasen v Keegan Brown: Brown to win & hit the most 180s

Far better players than Klaasen have been caught cold this week after receiving a bye to the second round.

Brown is ranked 11 places lower than the Dutchman in the world rankings, but comes into this as a slight favourite following a commanding 3-0 win over Karel Sedlacek on Sunday.

He hit six 180s in that match, and should outscore an opponent whose unconventional action can quickly unravel under pressure.

Gerwyn Price v Nathan Aspinall: Price to win & hit the highest checkout

Aspinall wasn't really tested by Geert Nentjes in the first round, and now comes up against an opponent in the form of his life.

Price won his first major at the Grand Slam of Darts last month following a couple of quarter-final appearances in October.

He's hit seven 100+ finishes in his last three matches, and should easily beat the best effort of Aspinall, who hit a highest out of 80 on Wednesday with the next best 56 and the rest all 32 or lower.

Jonny Clayton v Dimitri van den Bergh: Van den Bergh to checkout over 114.5

Van den Bergh never really got going against Chuck Puleo on Tuesday, but he could be worth a bet against the seeded Clayton in this one.

A highest finish of 144 was the highlight of that match, following on from a 140+ plus in both knockout rounds at the Grand Slam last month.

Clayton can occasionally produce monster checkouts of his own, but the Belgian's greater consistency means this is the safest way to go.
