Steve Lennon v James Bailey: Highest checkout under 123.5

The unders market for the highest overall checkout is turning out to be a nice little earner for us so far, with three correct tips out of three and, out of all the evening matches, this looks the one most likely to keep our run going.

Lennon should win this easily but doesn't tend to take out big checkouts, landing only two higher than this benchmark (124 and 129) in 64 legs at the World Grand Prix, European Darts Championship and Player Championship Finals during recent months.

Presuming Bailey doesn't put him under much pressure, he should be afforded the luxury of being able to set up the simple finishes rather than have to take on the tricky ones.

Dimitri van den Bergh to win the match, hit the most 180s and highest checkout

Van den Bergh has had a superb few months, retaining his World Youth Championship, making the quarter-finals of the Grand Slam of Darts - where he also threw his first televised nine-dart finish - and winning a couple of Development Tour events.

He's a consistent 180 scorer and often finishes with a flourish, hitting a 140+ checkout in both knockout rounds at the Grand Slam.

Against an opponent so inferior, the match treble ought to be rock solid in this one.

Daryl Gurney to win the match and hit the most 180s

Gurney is another who arives at the Worlds in good form, claiming his second television title at the Players Championship Finals in Minehead last month.

The Northern Irishman is a 180 machine, hitting more than anybody else at last year's Premier League despite playing fewer games than the three players below him.

Ross Smith hit two 100+ checkouts in his first-round match, including a 138, so the match treble is probably best avoided here.
