As a profession, competitive CS:GO is extremely hard to break into, and requires a bucket load of dedication. It also garners aspiring pros at quite a young age; some haven’t made it out of their teens before they head to their first major tournament. Why? Because at a younger age, your reflexes are faster and you typically have a stronger competitive drive.

This explains why esports players retire at a seemingly young age. It’s practically unheard of for a pro player to reach the age of 30, let alone still be relevant at the upper echelons of their game.

In our next video, Rob4 asks some of the pros who they would like to see be brought out of retirement. Among them are shroud, SpawN and Fifflaren, some of the best players to play competitively in Counter Strike.
