Three customers shared the £50,000 jackpot in 4 To Score, Betway’s free-to-play game, last weekend after correctly predicting the first goalscorer in our four selected matches.

This is the first time the jackpot has been won this season, with Paul, Scott and Patrick taking home £16,660 each.

Son Heung-min’s winning goal for Spurs against Burnley on Monday sealed the prize after James Ward-Prowse, Raul Jimenez and Jamie Vardy had opened the scoring in Sunday’s three Premier League matches.

Paul, a Manchester United fan from Essex, said: “It took a while to compute – I thought the call from Betway was a wind-up at first!

“Vardy and Jimenez picked themselves really – they’re both phenomenal goalscorers. Ward-Prowse was a bit of a wild-card, but I knew he had it in him having scored some great free-kicks over the years.

“It was a flip of a coin between Kane and Son, but I went for Son as I thought he might get on the end of another great assist from Kane.”

Paul, whose friend won a similar amount in 4 To Score last year, already has an idea of what he might spend his winnings on.

“I’ve been considering building a home office and gym in the garden, so this might help with that!”

Fellow winner Patrick, who follows both Liverpool and Bournemouth, is a regular 4 To Score player.

He only worked out that he’d won the jackpot on Tuesday morning as he scrolled through Twitter with work colleagues and pieced together who he had chosen.

“I selected Ward-Prowse to hopefully knock out a few players who went for the favourites, and it worked out perfectly.

“I’d chosen Son previously as first goalscorer and he’d come through so I decided the keep faith in him and it paid off.

“My work colleagues have taught me pretty much everything I know about football, so I’m going to take them all out to say thank you – when it’s safe!”
