Here are our writers' predictions for each division...
PREMIER LEAGUE
Top pick: Crystal Palace
4 To Score players tend to plump for the big-six clubs when making their Premier League selection.
However, research shows that the division’s first goal of the day has been scored by then-bottom-half sides in nine of the season’s 12 gameweeks.
Bottom-half sides have also conceded the first goal 11 times, meaning encounters between struggling sides are what you should look out for.
Crystal Palace scored in the first minute against Everton last weekend, and could do the same at home to Stoke, who have conceded six goals in the first 20 minutes of matches this season.
Honourable mention: Stoke
It is quite conceivable that the Potters could score first at Selhurst Park.
Mark Hughes' side have scored first-half goals in their last three top-flight matches, while Palace have conceded five times in the first 20 minutes of matches themselves.

CHAMPIONSHIP
Top pick: Bristol City
Bristol City have already been the Championship’s fastest scorers on three occasions this season, and look like a solid pick to be again on Saturday.
Lee Johnson’s side have scored inside the first 30 minutes nine times, and now face Hull, who have conceded 16 goals in nine home games so far.
Only two Championship teams have let in more goals than the Tigers, and it took just six minutes for Ipswich to put one past them when they met at the KCOM last week.
Honourable mention: Sunderland
If picking poor teams is the way to go, then Sunderland – who are awful – are the best bet this week.
The Black Cats have at least scored 23 goals this season – 13 of which came away from home – and now take on a Burton side that have let in 21 home goals.
LEAGUE ONE
Top pick: Southend
Southend would have scored the joint-most goals in the opening 10 minutes of matches this season had they converted a fourth-minute penalty on Tuesday.
The Shrimpers have scored the division’s first goal three times already this season, so are a solid shout to do the same against Oxford, who conceded after six minutes on Tuesday and just one minute a fortnight ago.
Honourable mentions: Blackburn, Peterborough
Blackburn have scored seven in two matches during the last week, taking an early lead in both.
They are likely to make another fast start against Bristol Rovers, who have conceded quickest twice in the last four weekends.
Rochdale are similarly slow starters, having let in League One’s first goal twice in the last three rounds of the game.
They are another prime candidate against a Peterborough side full of attacking talent.
LEAGUE TWO
Top pick: Luton
Luton have scored 46 goals in 19 matches this season, 13 more than any other side, and netted seven or more on three occasions.
They bagged three against Carlisle in midweek and are a great shout to open the scoring early on against out-of-form Crewe.
The Railwaymen have lost three of their last four in all competitions and have conceded League Two’s first goal on four occasions.
Honourable mentions: Carlisle, Swindon
Despite losing 3-0 at Luton on Tuesday, Carlisle's home form is actually pretty good.
The Cumbrians netted League Two’s opening goal a fortnight ago and have scored in the first seven minutes twice in three games at Brunton Park.
Swindon have won two out of three at the County Ground and host Newport, who have kept just one clean sheet in nine away game.
