Here are our writers' predictions...

LEAGUE ONE

Tom Clee's pick: Blackpool

Blackpool are often in the mix having twice taken the lead on six minutes this season.

On Saturday they welcome slow-starters AFC Wimbledon to Bloomfield Road, who have fallen behind inside the first eight minutes twice in the space of four weeks.

Honourable mentions: Oxford, Walsall

Walsall battled back from 3-0 down to equalise in the 87th minute last weekend, and can pick up where they left off at home to Plymouth who were spanked 4-0 in their last outing.

MK Dons, meanwhile, have conceded the first goal in League One twice already this season, which doesn’t bode well against an Oxford side that put six past Stevenage in the EFL Trophy in midweek.

LEAGUE TWO

Adam Drury's pick: Crawley Town

Crawley won their first game of the season emphatically last weekend with a 3-0 victory at Swindon.

Considering Yeovil have conceded the most goals in League Two, this is an unusual pick that might just prove successful.

Honourable mentions: Luton Town, Newport County

Luton are the league’s top scorers and don’t look like slowing down, so will always be worth considering.

Newport, meanwhile, scored four in their last league match, and play Exeter, who conceded twice inside the first 12 minutes last week.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Jack Green's pick: Aldershot

Aldershot are the National League’s third-highest scorers with 14 goals this season, 10 of which have come at home.

So they should score early and often at The Rec this weekend against second-bottom Solihull Moors, who have conceded 14 in six.

Honourable mentions: Chester, Leyton Orient

Chester travel to rock-bottom Torquay this weekend – a side that have lost six in a row and conceded three goals or more on five occasions.

Leyton Orient, meanwhile, take on a Guiseley team that have conceded 14 goals and lost four of their last six.

NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH

Will Rook's pick: Harrogate Town

Early leaders Harrogate are the top scorers in the National League North with 22 goals.

They have opened the scoring in six of their seven league matches this season, with two of those goals coming in the opening three minutes.

Honourable mentions: Stockport, FC United

Stockport bagged after five minutes in their last match and face Bradford Park Avenue, who conceded just a minute in to their last away game and also shipped three at Spennymoor two games prior to that.

FC United, meanwhile, have won back-to-back matches and scored first in both.

They have a decent chance of netting early against rock-bottom Leamington, who have lost six on the bounce and already conceded six inside 20 minutes.
