The £25,000 prize in 4 To Score went unclaimed on Saturday for a sixth week running - despite an enormous 85 per cent of players correctly predicting Manchester United in the Premier League.

A total of 21 players got three out of four, 19 of whom were let down by Southend - who scored the first goal in League One for the second weekend running - with the other two being undone by League Two.

If only they had listened to our writers - who correctly tipped both Coventry and Manchester United - though they, like many others, were let down by two less-fancied sides.

The Shrimpers made up just two per cent of picks in League One while Bristol City boasted only four per cent of Championship selections, despite going on to score the division's first goal for the third time this season.
