PREMIER LEAGUE

Jack Green's pick: Watford

The Hornets have made a fast start to the season with five goals in two games, and they broke the deadlock in just the eighth minute in their only home game so far against Liverpool.

Expect another early goal against Brighton, who have let in four in two and were the first team to concede in last Saturday’s games.

Honourable mentions:

Huddersfield have bagged four in two, and now take on a Southampton side that conceded two against 10-man West Ham last week.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Adam Drury's Pick: Brentford

Brentford are prolific at home, plundering five goals in two matches at Griffin Park already this season.

Wolves have been a little leaky recently, too.

Honourable mentions: Middlesbrough, Derby

Middlesbrough win at home, Preston lose away. Garry Monk’s side must have a decent chance.

Derby, meanwhile, got off to a flyer at Bolton last week so I’m hoping for something similar.

LEAGUE ONE

Will Rook's pick: Peterborough

Second-placed Peterborough have had a flying start to the season, winning three from three and scoring eight.

Two of those goals have come inside the first six minutes, while Posh have opened the scoring in each of their league games.

Northampton, meanwhile, are yet to pick up a point and conceded after two minutes last weekend as they were beaten 4-1 by Charlton.

Honourable mentions: Wigan, Doncaster

Wigan are yet to draw a blank in league or cup and have netted three of their last seven goals inside the first 16 minutes of matches.

Doncaster have scored 11 in four and travel to Wimbledon, who conceded more goals in the first 10 minutes than any other League One club last season.

LEAGUE TWO

Tom Clee's pick: Colchester

Top pick: Colchester

Forest Green were 2-0 down inside quarter of an hour last weekend.

Travelling to take on Colchester – who bagged an impressive eight goals during the first 10 matches of matches last season – another slow start is sure to be punished.

Honourable mentions: Yeovil, Morecambe

It was Yeovil who got off to that flyer against Forest Green last time out, so don’t rule them out doing the same again against a Coventry team that flopped at home to Newport last Saturday.

Morecambe, meanwhile, scored more early goals than any other team in the Football League last season.

Considering Cambridge have already conceded two in three matches this time around, the Shrimps look a good under-the-radar selection for League Two.
