New York City to beat Houston Dynamo –

New York City drew last weekend, but their home record is reason enough to back them on Saturday.

Patrick Vieira’s side have won seven of their last nine matches at Yankee Stadium and lost just one.

Houston have one point from their last four in the MLS and have won just one of their last 15 away games.

Toronto FC to beat New England Revolution –

Toronto are five points from securing top spot in the Eastern Conference after beating beat LA Galaxy 4-0 last weekend – their sixth win in seven.

The Canadian side boast the best travelling record in the MLS and are unbeaten in six on the road.

New England have lost back-to-back matches, conceding 10 and scoring just once.

Boca Juniors to beat Velez Sarsfield –

The Superliga season could not have started any better for defending champions Boca Juniors.

Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s side have won three out of three and conceded just one goal.

Velez’s start has been similarly impressive, though they dropped points against Talleres Cordoba last weekend and have lost two of their last three meetings with Boca.

Botafogo to beat Coritiba –

Botafogo beat Santos last weekend to make it three wins on the spin and they top the form table in Serie A, having taken 13 points from six.

Relegation-threatened Coritiba have picked up just two points in their last five league games and have lost seven out of 11.

Sporting Kansas City to beat LA Galaxy –

LA Galaxy will be glad to see the back of this season.

Sigi Schmid’s side have lost 10 and won just one of their last 13 league games and dropped to second bottom in the Western Conference.

Kansas are yet to be beaten at home this season and have won nine of their 14 games so far.
