Toronto FC to beat San Jose Earthquakes –

Toronto have taken the MLS by storm this season and, with seven games remaining, are within touching distance of confirming their play-off spot.

Greg Vanney’s side have the best home record in the league, remaining unbeaten with 10 wins out of 13, and are nine points clear at the top of the Eastern Conference.

San Jose, meanwhile, have lost six out of seven on the road and are in danger of missing out on the top six.

New York City to beat Portland Timbers –

Yankee Stadium has not been an easy place to visit this season, with New York City recording 10 wins and three draws from their 14 matches so far.

That record has helped them climb to second place in the Eastern Conference.

So they should win again against a Portland side with just one win in 11 away from home.

Atletico PR to beat Coritiba –

Atletico PR and are currently top of the Serie A form table.

In all, they have won four of their last six including back-to-back home matches.

They should keep that impressive run going against Coritiba, who have lost six out of nine and won only two in 17.

River Plate to beat CA Banfield –

River’s away win on the opening day extended their unbeaten run to nine in all competitions.

Banfield, meanwhile, have lost six and drawn two of their last 12 away games.

They also suffered a 4-1 hammering in the same fixture last season so another home win looks a good bet.

Seattle Sounders to beat LA Galaxy –

Despite a win last weekend, there’s not much for Galaxy fans to be cheery about.

They have lost eight of their last 10 league matches and picked up just four points along the way.

Against a Sounders side that have won seven of their last nine at home and are unbeaten in 11, their prospects don’t look good.
