Frankfurt to beat Paderborn (14:30)

Bottom-of-the-league Paderborn have already been relegated and come into their final game of the season on the back of a 14-match winless run.

Steffen Baumgart’s side have picked up just five points during that period – the fewest in the Bundesliga.

Frankfurt have won four of their last six league games, including back-to-back victories at the Commerzbank Arena.

Freiburg to beat Schalke (14:30)

Schalke haven’t won any of their last 15 matches in the Bundesliga and can count themselves fortunate that the season is ending this weekend.

David Wagner’s side have lost six of their eight games since the restart, taking one point from an available 12 away from the Veltins Arena.

Freiburg, meanwhile, have won back-to-back home games against Borussia Monchengladbach and Hertha Berlin.

Birmingham to beat Hull (15:00)

Hull dropped into the relegation zone following a 1-0 defeat at fellow relegation candidates Charlton last Saturday – their fifth loss on the spin.

The Tigers are without a win in their last 13 matches in all competitions, 11 of which have been defeats.

Birmingham earned a creditable goalless draw at promotion candidates West Brom last weekend, meaning they have lost one league game in 12.

Stoke to beat Middlesbrough (15:00)

Middlesbrough sacked manager Jonathan Woodgate and replaced him with Neil Warnock in midweek after a 3-0 defeat at home to Swansea last Saturday left them teetering on the edge of the relegation zone.

Boro are above third-bottom Hull on goal difference only and have won one of their last 14 in all competitions.

It seems unlikely Warnock will have been able to change a great amount in his few days in charge, while Stoke have won four of their last five home games.

Wigan to beat Blackburn (15:00)

This is the riskiest of the five picks, but Wigan continued their impressive post-lockdown form with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield last weekend.

That was the Latics’ fourth victory in five unbeaten matches, while they have only lost one in 10.

Blackburn also restarted with a win, beating out-of-form Bristol City 3-1, but had gone four without victory prior to that. They have won two of eight away from Ewood Park, beating strugglers Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday.
