Middlesbrough to beat Hull

Middlesbrough were beaten 1-0 by league leaders Fulham in midweek, but had won back-to-back games prior to that.

Chris Wilder’s side had won eight league games on the bounce at the Riverside before this week, and can get their play-off challenge back on track here.

Hull have lost back-to-back games against Luton and Huddersfield, winning just two in 12 overall.

Preston to beat QPR

QPR’s play-off challenge looks to have crumbled following a run of six defeats in seven matches.

Mark Warburton’s side have managed two victories in 13 league games and are five points off the top six with six left to play.

Preston have beaten Bournemouth and Blackpool in their last two matches at Deepdale and have lost one in 10.

MK Dons to beat AFC Wimbledon

MK Dons extended their unbeaten run to 14 matches with a 2-1 victory over Crewe in midweek, which helped them climb into the top two.

Liam Manning’s side have won 11 times in that sequence and are a banker to come out on top against their out-of-form rivals.

Wimbledon are winless in 23 matches in all competitions – the longest run in the EFL this season – and are four points from safety with five games to go.

Plymouth to beat Burton

Fourth-placed Plymouth have an outside shot of sealing an automatic promotion place and come into this with 12 wins from their last 15 league games.

The Pilgrims beat promotion rivals Oxford 1-0 last weekend and look a great price against a side with nothing to play for.

Burton have lost six and drawn one of their last eight, are 10 points above the relegation zone and 25 below the top six.

Colchester to beat Stevenage

Colchester beat Harrogate 2-1 last weekend to secure back-to-back victories and pull 11 points clear of Stevenage, who are in the first relegation spot.

That was a fourth victory in six matches for the U’s, who would be two points off the play-offs had the season started when interim manager Wayne Brown took over 16 matches ago.

Second-bottom Stevenage are winless in 11, have lost four in a row and were beaten 1-0 by relegation rivals Oldham last weekend, leaving them three points from safety.
