Lincoln to beat Bristol Rovers

Lincoln are one of just six sides in the top four divisions with a 100 per cent record still intact.

Michael Appleton’s side have won six of their last seven in all competitions, with their only blemish in that sequence coming against Liverpool in the third round of the EFL Cup.

Bristol Rovers got their first victory of the season against Northampton last weekend, but a record of one win in seven in all competitions is not convincing.

Peterborough to beat Northampton

Back-to-back 2-0 defeats to Hull and Bristol Rovers have made Northampton’s start to the season look mediocre at best.

The Cobblers mustered a combined xG total of just 0.9 (experimental361) in those matches and have started to look out of their depth in the third tier.

Peterborough have won back-to-back matches and should be backed for another victory this weekend.

Cheltenham to beat Crawley

Cheltenham were comfortable 2-0 winners away to Leyton Orient last weekend, which was their second straight league victory.

Michael Duff’s side followed that result with a 2-0 win over League One Plymouth in the EFL Trophy in midweek and have a great opportunity to make it four on the spin here.

Crawley sacrificed a one-goal lead to give Southend their first point of the campaign last weekend and have lost two away games out of three.

Morecambe to beat Oldham

Morecambe went second in the League Two table following their 1-0 victory at home to Port Vale last weekend.

Derek Adams’ side have won three league games out of four, so this looks like a generous price against one of the strugglers of the division.

Oldham have taken one point from their opening four games and have lost both matches at Boundary Park.

Exeter to beat Southend

Southend earned their first point of the league campaign after a late equaliser against Crawley secured a 1-1 draw last weekend, but they followed that with a 3-0 defeat to Portsmouth in the EFL Trophy in midweek.

That result means the Shrimpers, who are second-bottom of the entire EFL, have lost six and drawn one of their seven matches in all competitions this season.

Exeter’s 4-3 victory over League One Swindon on Tuesday means they come into this on a three-match winning streak in all competitions.
