QPR to beat Barnsley

Barnsley are bottom of the Championship, having accrued just 14 points over the course of 29 matches.

The Tykes have lost six straight league games and are winless in 13.

Fourth-placed QPR have won five and drawn two of their last seven league games.

Luton to beat Birmingham

Luton have won seven of their last nine matches in all competitions, losing only against in-form Sheffield United last month.

That run has seen Nathan Jones’ side climb to within a point of the top six in the Championship and into the FA Cup fifth round.

Birmingham’s only victory in their last 12 matches came against bottom-of-the-league Barnsley last month.

Coventry to beat Reading

Reading have lost seven straight matches in all competitions, including a 2-1 extra-time defeat to Kidderminster in the FA Cup third round and a 7-0 thumping at home to Fulham last month.

The Royals are among the worst sides in the Championship at the moment and a 2-1 defeat to Bristol City in midweek left them two points above the bottom three.

Coventry have only won three of their last seven, but took Southampton to extra time in the FA Cup last weekend, and will surely have enough to get three points against a crisis club.

Wigan to beat Charlton

Wigan come into this in poor form, having lost back-to-back games against Stoke and Sheffield Wednesday, but can make amends here.

The Latics are nine points behind league leaders Rotherham, but have three games in hand.

Mid-table Charlton have managed just two victories in their last nine away games in all competitions.

Tranmere to beat Walsall

Walsall sacked manager Matty Taylor in midweek following their 1-0 defeat to bottom-of-the-league Scunthorpe, which was their seventh on the spin.

That run has seen the Saddlers slide to within two places and four points of the relegation zone.

Second-placed Tranmere beat play-off contenders Swindon 3-0 on Tuesday, which was their 10th victory in 13 league games.
