Bristol City to beat Barnsley

Bristol City are one of just two sides with a 100 per cent winning record in the entire EFL.

The Robins have won six of their seven games in all competitions, with their only defeat coming against in-form Premier League Aston Villa in the EFL Cup third round.

Barnsley have lost three and drawn one of their last four, while they must also cope with the loss of manager Gerhard Struber, who has joined New York Red Bulls since their last game.

Swansea to beat Huddersfield

Swansea are one of five sides in the Championship who remain unbeaten, having won three and drawn one of their four games.

Steve Cooper’s side have only conceded one goal in that period, which suggests they will do well against a stale Huddersfield attack.

The Terriers have scored only two league goals this season, one of which was a stoppage-time own goal against Rotherham last time out, while their only victory came against pointless Nottingham Forest.

Millwall to beat Wycombe

Wycombe are still looking for their first point and goal of the season after four games in the Championship.

The Chairboys are second-bottom of the division – above only Sheffield Wednesday, who are on -7 points – after conceding 10 goals without reply.

Millwall haven’t had the best start, taking only five points so far, but have a great opportunity to put that right here.

Sunderland to beat Swindon

Sunderland are seventh in the League One table and could climb to fourth with a victory here, despite having played one game fewer than the majority of the division.

Phil Parkinson’s side have won two and drawn two of their four matches, conceding only one goal in the process – the fewest in the division.

Swindon have lost three of their last four, failing to score in two of those defeats.

Cambridge to beat Scunthorpe

Cambridge beat fellow fast starters Newport 2-1 last weekend to leapfrog them into second place in League Two.

The U’s have won three of their five away games in all competitions this season, including a 5-0 victory over league leaders Morecambe and a 1-0 win against Championship Birmingham in the EFL Cup first round.

Scunthorpe were thumped 4-1 at home to Forest Green last weekend and have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions.
